bambu candle

bamboo, coconut + green floral

the crisp, airy, leafy scent of bamboo forms the green spine of this fragrance, softened by coconut to keep it cosy and inviting. we wanted to capture the bamboo-shaded river streams found around the islands. cool, relaxing and prestigious moments of pause.

in 2025, we’ve introduced green floral notes to bring added freshness and a gentle tartness to the composition, lifting the entire fragrance into something bright, textured, and soothing.

your first burn

for your first light, let the wax melt right to the edges of the jar. this helps your candle burn evenly and stops a tunnel from forming.

burning the candle

try to burn your candle 2-4 hours at a time. this gives you an even wax pool and protects the wick from getting too long.

trimming your wick

before each new light, gently trim the wick to a short length. just about the height of your pinky nail (roughly 5-7 mm). a shorter wick gives you a cleaner, steadier flame with less smoke.

the end of your candle

when there’s only a thin layer of wax left at the bottom. just about one fingertip deep, its time to stop burning for safety. you can reuse the jar, or bring it back for our refill & relight service.

Made in Trinidad

holding the belief that scent is memory made material, at iere, we’ve embarked on a journey to craft products that carry the soul of the Caribbean. from our hibiscus-lined yards, the hush of rain on galvanised roofs, the salt and breeze of the sea, the flock of ibises spotted at sunset. These moments inspire us to craft fragrances rooted in story and place.
